We commissioned a coffee table from Doug for our Great Room. Throughout the design process, Doug was very receptive to our creative ideas and presented several options for us to consider. We met at his shop to see some of his previous work, look at materials and techniques, and to see sketches. Even though we changed our minds a couple of times, Doug was always gracious and incorporated our new ideas, as well as suggesting his own. Once the building stage began, Doug worked quickly and we had a lovely table in our house in no time!”
Douglas’ pieces are masterfully crafted and a visual delight. After accepting my project, he emailed updates and photos of his progress. I am delighted to have found Douglas and North Light Art Furniture and will treasure my three tables for many years!
