Description
One of my favorite combinations of color is that of padouk and hard maple. There is something about the bold rich red of the padouk against the more innocent blonde maple that seems to make pieces with this combination more than what they might be with one wood alone. The legs in the design of this table seem to suggest a movement outward and upward, as if a dancer is about to execute a vertical leap, a "release" from gravity.
