Description
Two of the most desired furniture woods throughout America are cherry and black walnut. In this piece, I combined the generous warmth of cherry against a subtle “framing” of rich walnut to generate a contemplative and inviting table. As with “Release I,” the legs in the design of this table seem to suggest a movement outward and upward, as if a dancer is about to execute a vertical leap, a "release" from gravity.
